ARRLWeb: Utility Cuts Short BPL Trial that was Target of Amateur Complaints
I’m glad that someone has finally stepped up and done the right thing. I’ve heard about BPL since its inception, and throughout the entire process, not one official has stated that BPL causes interference, even though there are mountains of data supporting the contrary.
It’s good to see Alliant Energy is thinking about the Amateur Radio community. I truly hope this technology takes off, it will be a great way to ensure that you are always connected, no matter where you are. So long as they don’t step on anyone’s toes to make it happen.
