Game Over

So, ok, I suck at updates.  On October 13th, 2006 Suzanne and I tied the knot.

It was a great day, with our family and friends there to cheer us on and make sure we went through with it 😛

After the ceremony, Sue and I jaunted up to her work to say hi, then we rolled down to my job so that I could show off the new Mrs. to everyone.  Once that was over with, it was off to Bravo for food, cake (yum), and good company. Strangely enough, afterward, the girls and guys split up and did some shopping. Dad and I went to Harbor Freight of course, and the girls went just about everywhere else!

All in all, it was a fun, and very tiring weekend. So, what’s changed? Aside from the ring that’s on our fingers and eventually Sue’s last name,  nothing. It’s anti-climatic I know, but I think it’s comforting to know that things aren’t going to change drastically.

I’m looking forward to next year when the real wedding will take place. I know it’s strange to get married and then have the ceremony a year later, but the Celts did it for a long time. You may have heard of a little thing called a handfasting. In some regards, that is what we did, only the reverse. Our wedding will fall shortly after our 1 year anniversary, which works out just great in my opinion.

So that’s it, the geek got married, and hell didn’t freeze over, though it has been kind of cold since then. 🙂

Geek OFF!
