Wow, been a while huh? Well, I’ve been busy, still am.
I’ve been pre-approved for a $125,000 mortgage. Sounds like a lot to me, mostly because we have been finding nice houses that don’t top over $80k. Even though I qualify for the mortgage, there’s no way I can pay $1,000/mo for a house, us geeks aren’t that well paid!
I had my sights set on getting an Antec P160W case to replace my old SOHO tower, but with bills being what they are, I’ll have to wait and hope my processor doesn’t go into meltdown. It’s a long story.
For some reason, I just can’t bring myself to do anything with the uber-geek site. Part of me says I’m too busy with everything else in life to bother working on something I have no business even attempting. I’m no artist, nor am I a writer. To think that I am nothing more than an average tech is pure stupidity. If it wasn’t for other people being on that domain, I would have shut it down long ago. I have my surname domain, and that’s good enough for me. It sucks to think about not doing the Uber-Geek series because I think I could have a lot of fun with it, but for now, I think I need to focus on making a living in the real world, doing things I know I can do.
I should just say to hell with my hobbies and my dreams. They don’t get me anywhere in life but more frustrated, and a lot poorer. I should sell my ham equipment and not renew my license next year, get rid of all my video games, all the camping gear I’ve amassed, along with it any hope of having any kind of relaxing free time. That way when I die early they can say I was a hard worker who never thought of himself. What a legacy to leave behind.
I’m just getting very sick of everything.
