So in an effort to make my PC quieter, and at the same time, keep it clean, I purchased a few things from coolerguys.com a little bit ago.
First off, I got a Power supply dampening kit. It’s a little rubber cover that goes around the outside of my power supply where it screws into the case. It did cut the vibration down some.
Next, I installed some acoustic foam from spire-coolers.com. This stuff is awesome, though it did raise my temps up by 1 degree, it did take a lot out of the outside noise level.
I did get some aluminum intake filters and a cool Dragon fan grill, but my case doesn’t easily accommodate filters or fan grills, so I’m left with a toy I can play with 🙁 I’m going to figure out a way to mount the filters on the inside of the case so that I can easily remove and clean them.
